Ron DeGrandis is an avid performer, master teacher, conductor, and an outstanding arranger/composer. I have known Ron for many years performing with him in the Allentown Symphony and collaborating with him in an educational setting. As a professional violist, Ron has an innate understanding of the technical demands of playing a string instrument and his music reflects this. Ron has arranged many pieces for the Allentown Symphony String Festival and PMEA Festivals. He was also commissioned by Parkland School District to write a piece for the Parkland Elementary Band and String program. As a middle school orchestra director at Parkland School District, my students have performed many of Ron's arrangements. His arrangements are clear, concise and well balanced throughout all sections.
